Here is another great recipe that is fast, easy and delicious. I made this for an after-dinner snack….thats when my sweet tooth kicks in and these hit the spot! High protein, low fat, clean and only 3 ingredients. However, I added unsweetened shredded coconut and finely chopped walnuts and they came out great. See the pic below.
RECIPE-1 cup peanut powder**
1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce.
Mix the applesauce and Peanut powder together (add walnuts, coconut, flax seed etc), stir and mix. Shape into round balls
Dip the balls into melted chocolate. I used milk chocolate and white chocolate and add a touch of coconut oil to help. Place on a greased dish and put in the fridge.
** Peanut powder-its similar to protein powder but its derived from peanuts with 70% less fat but all the protein. You have to buy it at Sprouts, Lazy Acres, Jimbo’s or order it thru Amazon. Vons and Ralph’s don’t usually stock it).
