Alexa Saxon was born and raised in the Los Angeles area and has a BA in International Relations from Stanford University and a JD from Boalt Hall School of Law, UC Berkeley. She has lived in Encinitas for over 25 years and worked as a Realtor at Distinctive Homes CA for approximately 13 years. For the last several years, she has also been our Sales Manager, where her depth of understanding on contracting and real estate law has been valuable to our team members in solving any complicated issues our clients might face. Alexa has worked for a variety of clients and in a variety of transactions; first-time home buyers, relocation, equestrian estates, short sales, 1031 exchanges, move-up buyers, long-term rental investors, fix and flip investors, second home buyers, military clients, etc. She has a passion for fixers and helps clients redesign/remodel homes so that buyers can maximize "sweat-equity" and sellers can optimize the sale price of their home. When she isn't showing homes, she enjoys traveling with her husband and two adult children, dancing Argentine Tango, taking Tap Dance classes and tending her back-yard orchard.
